2,650 Miles For Mom

Anyone catch the segment on NBC’s “Today” show on Tuesday about the man who ran more than 2,650 miles in two months in honor of his mom? That’s 42 marathons a day, running from Canada to Mexico along the Pacific Coast.

Here’s a clip.  He raised money for research on Parkinson’s Disease along the way.

Makes you wonder what you can do for you mom, huh?

Unrelated to that machine of a human being, I made my first postpartum trip to the gym yesterday, hitting the treadmill for 20 minutes before going to a yoga class. I loved it! It’s so good to be back; I’m ready to get my pre-baby body back.

A question for moms: What did you do to get back into shape after you had a baby?
