Good News If You Like To Eat Good Food

Not a villain. Meet Joe Bastianich. Photo courtesy cnn.com.

Joe Bastianich isn’t just a marathon runner or a soon-to-be-Iron Man. He happens to be a restaurateur, winemaker, author and a judge on the  FOX series “MasterChef.” So the guy knows a thing or two about being an athlete and good food.

Which is why I find this blog post by him so good, I had to share.

In essence, Bastianich says eating healthy doesn’t mean giving up satisfying and savory meals. Such meals can include wine (hooray) and cheese (double hooray). They shouldn’t include processed food.

He closes with this wonderful nugget of wisdom: “The moral of the story is, you can feel great, look great, and still enjoy a little vino and mozzarella caprese at the end of the day.”
