How To Get Better Sleep

You can tell when you don’t get enough sleep. You may be quicker to get angry. You may eat a little more than usual. Your daily run may go a little slower.

I get sick to my stomach when my sleep is cut short. How does it affect you?

There are more serious effects you may not be aware of. According to an article on health.com, “chronic, long-term insufficient sleep ups your odds of diabetes, depression, cardiovascular disease, even weight gain.”

Obviously, there are things out of your control that might impede sleep. Say, for example, a cat with a 4 a.m. internal alarm clock or a sick baby. But, there are some steps you can take to help.
